The historic city of St. Charles, Missouri has been welcoming guests since 1769.

The ten block, 200 year old Historic Main Street in St. Charles is Missouri’s first and largest historic district. A trolley travels the red brick streets of numerous restaurants and more than 125 specialty shops including framed art, antiques, collectibles, stained glass, quilts, pottery, jewelry, and a brewery.

St. Charles and its surrounding areas have some of the finest wineries in the Midwest. If you are planning a family vacation, the St. Charles area is the perfect destination. Learn about Daniel Boone at his homestead in nearby Defiance and the adventures of Lewis and Clark at a museum located at the Lewis and Clark Boat House. St. Charles has 15 parks and is a suburb of St. Louis where numerous reasonably priced family attractions await you.

St Louis Bus Tour

   Take a charter bus tour with us on Friday morning July 30, 2010 in St. Louis City and visit these following places. You must register for this tour. We need at least 25 people to sign up ($35 each) by
June 1, 2010, in order to schedule the tour.

AmeriStar Casino Night

Join us on Thursday, July 29, 2010 for an evening of fun at the Ameristar Casino in St. Charles with free shuttle service and an unbelievable buffet at a special price to you.  Maybe you will win enough money to buy that badge you always wanted.

 

To those who are registered for the Ameristar Casino Night.  We will meet in the lobby of the Embassy Suites Hotel no later than 5:45PM on Thursday evening.  The bus will leave promptly at 6PM.  Once at the casino we will go to the buffet for dinner which will cost you each $16 which includes tax and tip.  We have to pre-pay for these meals so you will pay us that night when boarding the bus.  After dinner we will try to win some money at the casino.  Transportaion back to the Embassy Suites will be provided by the casino between 10 and 11 PM.  After that you are on your own.  I have the following collectors registered for the casino night: Calhoun(2), Chow (2), Goldstein (3), Hanham, Hopkins(2), Krdzalic, Lusk(2), Martin, McCord(2), Mead, Nelson(2), Thompson, Shockey(2), Selvaggio(2).  Contact me with any questions at sgtfrank191@yahoo.com.   

 

  

Ladies Guided Trolley Tour

 

A ladies tour of the St. Charles Historic Main Street has been scheduled for Saturday, July 31, 2010.

The guided trolley tour will depart from the St. Charles Convention Center at 11:00 AM and take the ladies on an hour long tour of Missouri’s oldest historic district. After the guided tour is over the ladies will be let off of the trolley to spend your spare badge money at 125 specialty shops featuring art, antiques, collectibles, stained glass, quilts, pottery, jewelry, and much more.  Then they can have lunch on their own at one of the many restaurants and stop for a fresh drink at the brewery.  When they have spent as much as they can the ladies will be directed to the location that they can get a free shuttle ride back to the convention center.  The tour guide will provide this information prior to the ladies departing the trolley. 

The cost for the tour is $2 and I have room for 25 ladies to join my wife, Jan, who will help them shop till they drop……..on your dime of course.

 Located seven miles west of the St. Louis Lambert International Airport, the St. Charles Convention Center and the Embassy Suites Hotel are ready to help us host the 2010 National Police Collectors Show.  These two dynamic properties are connected so you never have to ‘leave the building’.  The Show will be in the Exhibition Hall on the Lower Level of the Convention Center where we will have over 300 display tables available.  There are 1200 parking spaces and a loading dock for easy access to the hall.  The Embassy Suites offers 296 spacious suites that include a made to order breakfast for every guest, an Evening Managers Reception with complimentary drinks, internet access, microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker, safe, and 2 TV’s.  Our guest hotel also features the Cyprus Grille for casual dining, a spa, fitness center, concierge services, indoor pool, and a complimentary 24 hour business center.  It is a tremendous value considering that you can have up to 4 persons per room.
